Senior Advisor – Aboriginal Cultural Planning (Re-advertised)
1 x Full time – 38 Hours per week (12 months Fixed Term)
1 x Part time – 19 Hours per week (Ongoing position)

The Senior Advisor - Aboriginal Cultural Planning is a senior practitioner responsible for supporting the development, endorsement, implementation, and review of cultural plans for vulnerable Aboriginal children and young people living in out-of-home care. Senior Advisors support the development of cultural plans by care teams, assessing and providing support where needed, and recommend cultural plans are endorsed by the Chief Executive Officer.
This includes reviewing cultural plans and working with care teams to ensure they are of a suitable standard and address the cultural needs of vulnerable Aboriginal children and young people.

Full time – 38 Hours per week
The position exists to ensure that the management of the general practice:
Fully supports the delivery of quality clinical care by all clinicians working in the practice
Provides for the self-sustained operation of the practice (break-even at minimum)
Key Selection Criteria:
Understanding of, and commitment to, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture
Understanding of general practice
Management experience in a small business, ideally general practice management
Development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and processes that ensure effective and efficient operation of a healthcare service
Experience in leading healthcare service accreditation
Essential: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in health-related field, commerce, or accounting
Formal business or health service management qualification, ideally accredited practice
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Public Health or Health Promotion
