  • Kinship Care Case Management – Two Full Time positions - 38 Hours per week - Fixed Term (12 months)

  • Homework Teacher – Part time - 30.4 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday

       Education/Teaching or related discipline.

 

About Us

Rumbalara Engagement and Family Services (REFS) programs of RAC which provide assistance to Aboriginal families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. REFS programs operate across Yorta Yorta, Bangerang and Taungurung lands covering the Department Health and Human Services (DHHS) Goulburn (geographical) area of the East Division. The programs assist vulnerable families to improve their situations with the ultimate goal of turning things around so their children have a safe, stable and healthy place to live. We work in areas of Out of Home Care, early intervention, prevention and tertiary services, such as, cradle 2 kinder, family services, placement support and kinship and foster care. The REFS program works to support and embed the safety, stability and development of Aboriginal children, young people, their families and community - inclusive of their spiritual, cultural and emotional wellbeing.

Medical Administration Support Officer

Part time – (0.6 EFT) 3 days per week

About the role:

This position exists to provide administrative support to medical clinic staff and to provide support, administration and planning for visiting specialist clinics that visit Rumbalara.

 

The successful applicant will have:

  • High level of professionalism,  proactive, personable and enthusiastic about the role

  • With general administration experience in the healthcare industry

  • Have a strong patient focus including empathy, patience and understanding

  • Be a focused team worker and team player

  • Desirable: Working knowledge of medical billing procedures and the ability to process Medicare and other payments
